Materials & Preparation
Seeds & Soil: Grown from high-quality seeds in well-drained loamy soil.
Curing Process: After harvesting, onions undergo field curing (leaving them under the sun to dry the outer skins) and shade curing (storing them in well-ventilated structures called Kanda Chawls).
Sorting: Bulbs are graded by size (e.g., 25mm to 55mm+) and cleared of loose soil and dried roots.
